Oil Change #
It’s been a while since I did a full oil change on Lupe. I was able to find all new parts at FCP Euro.

Oil change on these cars is pretty simple. Start by loosening the nuts on the oil pan and letting the oil drain. Once it’s come to a light drip, remove the nuts and carefully remove the plate, gaskets, and filter. The Mexican beetles use an additional oil filter but still have the standard oil filter original beetles came with. Replace both filters and gaskets and tighten the nuts back up, they need to be torqued to 5 foot pounds.
